Laura helped me to stage my home in which I've lived for 22 years and in which I raised my family. 

This was such a difficult undertaking for me--not just the task of decluttering and doing some upgrades and redecorating--although that was hard enough!  There was a deeper aspect of this which represented letting go of the interior space in which I raised my children.  This brought up for me such a sadness about coming to grips with what is--that my children are grown up and have left home.

We use PV Home Staging whenever we have a dramatic property needing that special light touch or a full blown remake.  We know that Laura’s demeanor and expertise will make nervous home-sellers feel more relaxed and she’ll take care of them. I especially like to stage empty homes where we need a way to demonstrate warmth and hominess.

Empty homes are not easy to sell. Staging does make a difference―and it doesn’t have to be expensive.  What I like to do is have Laura stage the empty home for one month.  We then bring in a professional photographer and have great photos for the listing sheets and web sites.  

The staging goes away in a month, but we have the photos up until the home sells.  Usually much faster than an empty home.

Laura and Don came in and worked their magic on my home.

They spent 2 ½ days, working around the painters, and transformed modest home into a picture-book beauty. Best of all, Laura used much of my own furniture, books, knickknacks, and artwork. They rearranged some furniture to “open up” space, added artwork and plants to create a focus for each room, a few pieces of furniture, lamps, and hung textured sheer curtains on all the windows.In the end, the transformation was amazing!

Two weeks later, I accepted the offer, with three other couples waiting for a call in case the sale did not go through for some reason.

Home staging was worth every penny spent. My home looked better than I could have imagined.
